pj183600
As part of our ENS 186 application we need to get a new passport for my son. As we have been in the country for 21 months. What do we do about getting someone to countersign the application, other than ask someone in the UK to do it.... The guidelines state that they must have known the person & parent for 2 years minimum.
Suzukiscottie
We had to do the same last year too for our eldest child. Luckily we have a family friend here who is a Uni Associate Prof. and he countersigned everything. Other options would have been the kids School teacher? Doctor? Dentist? Etc. or employer. Lots of options unless you are a Hermit. :-)
Que Sera Sera
Has he already had a passport? We didn't need the photos countersigned as it said only if they looked very different. I decided to try, and they accepted it even though the photos were 7 years apart
pj183600
Yea he's under 11 so the photo's need signing. We could try the school, doctor etc but we have been here less than 2 years. I forgot I know a person at work whom I knew before we came out here so I will ask him to do it.
