pj183600
Hi we are currently on a 457 and can apply for PR in April through the 186 ENS scheme. Is it worth getting an agency to do the application or is there not much benefit and better off doing it yourself?

Thomasowen
it's not that difficult of a process, I did my application on my own and there are a lot of forms and info you have to gather but with the price of the visa being so much and didn't want to pay more for an MA just to tell me what forms to fill in when all the information is already available online and within forums such as this. A few of my friends had already been through the process which was a big help.
Suzukiscottie
Isn't your employer arranging things for you?
pj183600
My employer will do the nomination for ENS 186 but the actual application is up to me. I could ask them to cover the cost for us.. I've been given a quote of $4500 for the agent fees (for a family of 5). It seems a bit steep for someone just to check the forms and make sure you have all the relevant docs or are am I missing something?
VeepsMelb
I had a look at using an Agent but the on-line process is very straight forward, you cant go further unless you complete all the questions. I found it pretty fool proof and saved myself $4k which paid towards taking the family back to the UK for Christmas.
