alavington
Hi guys, I've not posted for a while but now I'm just over a week from arriving in OZ and the question dawned on me - which queue at Immigration do I join? I have a British passport the partner visa (309) and will be activating the visa when we land. Also, if I have to go through the 'other passports' queue, will I have to do this every time I return to the country? Many thanks in advance! NickyNook
The queues in Australia are for 'Australian passport holders' or 'Other passport holders'. Obviously, you take the Other passport queue until such times as you have an Australian passport..
Tartan Diver
If your travelling with your partner who holds an australian passport you can go through with them in the aussie queue, when I travel with my wife who is an aussie I go through with her and have been told by border control its not a problem. When arriving back in the UK my wife comes with me through the british passport queue. I suppose if your travelling alone then stick to the correct queue. alavington
Excellent - thanks for the info. I'll be arriving with the Aussie Mrs so I'll follow her!
