Sahew18 Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 If you enter Aus while waiting for 189 to be granted, do you have to leave to activate it once it has been granted. I have read a lot of people say you do have to, however my agent has said that we would not have to and it will become live as soon as it is granted? rammygirl Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 I think this used to be the case when an offshore application was a different number to the onshore one. For some visas this differentiation has been removed, so it no longer matters where you are but not sure if you need to notify Immigration of your travel plans. they generally advise not to make plans until visa is granted, also not sure how this can effect transporting a container.
