Skills Assessment Achilles heel - Skills Management or IT?

Hi Everyone! Hope someone can help which can give me an alternative point of attack on this.

I've been on one workpermit since i've been in Australia for the past 4 years. (ACT is a nightmare location for 457 IT holders btw.)

In this time, i've had 4 different (short term) jobs, with 4 different titles. All IT related. Greatly messing up my CV....try and explain that to ignorant people that don't know how a 457 works....

ACS don't want to give me a successful skills assessment because I haven't been in each position 2 years! So I cannot prove I'm a professional in one area. (All IT related) I've tried a skills assessment on hardware technician, Network and Systems Engineer, IT manager, and appealed all, unsuccessful again. I have more than 10 years IT experience. I don't have formal IT education, other than a Certificate III from CIT, and a degree in Business. (Both don't count according to ACS, so it leaves me with the following) I am an IT generalist.

These are my routes:

1) I can do a RPL. (This does not count towards an immigration application so not sure where do from here.)

2) I can get a 187 sponsor (50% luck involved because in most cases it's who you know)

IS THERE ANOTHER WAY, rather than going through ACS,BUT going through another skills body and....

3) Getting my Business management degree assessed, and using my it MANAGEMENT role to get permanent residence?

Have you consulted a registered migration agent?
