Amanda from UK Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 Hi I applied for a fiancee visa in May 2014 as i am getting married to an Australian citizen who is currently living in Australia, i got a case officer in July and was advised to go for my medical mid August. Is anyone else in the same position, if so can we share a timeline of proceedings as it is so frustrating just waiting for information and it would just be nice to have someone to talk with who can understand my frustrations. CollegeGirl Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 You can expect your visa between January-February of next year (at 8 to 9 months after your application). London grants pretty religiously right around that timeframe. Just do your best to forget about it and get on with your life until then, and remember that you're lucky that you applied when you did, since applicants who applied just a couple of months behind you now have to wait 10-14 months for their grants.
