mazzagirl
Hi there I've seen a few people seem to get direct grants when they apply for visas? what does this mean exactly? I guess you still need to do medicals and police checks? Is it just that no further info is required and no communication required? Thanks in advance for answers x Maz
4kusnik
It means your visa application is processed without assigning CO.
Pumpkin
Never heard the expression myself. Do you have an example?
lebourvellec
When people front load medicals and police checks and the processing CO does not require any further information your application may be granted without the processing CO contacting you. Personally unless someone is in a genuine hurry to get to Australia to start work, waiting for CO to request medicals and pcc would be advised, you then have you CO contact details and have a better understanding on where you application is being processed. Our application was granted day our last pcc was uploaded. I haven't seen applications lately being processed any faster frontloading than waiting for the request.
