Urgent please somone help

hi all, we lodged our 190 visa in June but we used an agent. Ixp, previously global visas. Yeah I no they have bad reviews etc but we made the mistake of using them.

 

anyway, I've had a phone call tonight from my case worker saying they have gone into liquidation and my case worker now works for guardian visas. I'm absolutely devastated.she is telling me she will continue my case work for £300. The 190 visa has been lodged - I have the receipt but to my knowledge we haven't been allocated a case officer yet. I desparelty need to get I touch with some one about this... I want to contact the case officers team so they can contact us directly when they allocate a case officer.

 

Please can some one help!!?? I'm not paying another £300 to what I'm guessing is a scam? I have tried ringing ixp but the numbers constantly engaged.

 

 

How can I contact the case officer team?? Or where does the 190 visa go when lodged? I urgently need to contact someone

 

Please can some one help we are in turmoil!

Firstly calm down. Fill in form 953 which concerns cancellation of a migration agent, fill it in and put yourself down as the contact person. Just check that form number, it might be 956 or 952 but that would be patently obvious if you search for them. Simple.

 

by the way I don't think the £300 is a scam, she works for a new company now and they will need to be paid for the work as your fee won't have been passed over with her. I do understand why you don't want to pay it, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a scam.

I would think that if your application has already been lodged then that's got to be better than it still being with IXP. I've recently lodged an application too, but a different one to yours tbh I dont know what a 190 is, also I didn't go through an agent. However I was sent the following links that may well help you. Sorry to hear about your troubles, it is a difficult situation.

 

As Pumpkin stated, it is important to stay calm at this point.

 

The first thing I would recommend is to obtain the log in details from the previous “case worker” so that you can access your file. This at least will allow you to see the information which has been entered and the documents which have been attached, if any. This will give you some idea of what has been done so far.

 

Secondly, before you even consider signing up with a new company, do some research. Is your “case worker” a Registered Migration Agent?

 

Once you know what is going on, it is important you advise the Immigration Department of new contact details (whether it is yourself or a representative) so they can communicate with someone in regards to your application (form 956).
