Hi all Just wondering how people managed to find a tenancy to rent if moving to oz without a secure job offer. We've got the 190 visa and are going to SA. Wanting to stay in mount gambier area. Looking at staying in a holiday home (if anyone knows of any) for the first month whilst we try and secure a rental. What have others done? Really appreciate the advice as we feel clueless at the mo!! Thanks

Still no grant for us.... Almost 4 weeks since medicals uploaded. Immi account still says processing and last update was 21st august. Anyone else been granted recently? Good luck all!!

Was using ixp visas who are now in liquidation so no way of finishing CO details but don't want to miss out on vital emails etc? hi all, we lodged our 190 visa in June but we used an agent. Ixp, previously global visas. Yeah I no they have bad reviews etc but we made the mistake of using them. anyway, I've had a phone call tonight from my case worker saying they have gone into liquidation and my case worker now works for guardian visas. I'm absolutely devastated.she is telling me she will continue my case work for £300. The 190 visa has been lodged - I have the receipt but to my knowledge we haven't been allocated a case officer yet. I desparelty need to get I touch with some one about this... I want to contact the case officers team so they can contact us directly when they allocate a case officer. Please can some one help!!?? I'm not paying another £300 to what I'm guessing is a scam? I have tried ringing ixp but the numbers constantly engaged. How can I contact the case officer team?? Or where does the 190 visa go when lodged? I urgently need to contact someone Please can some one help we are in turmoil! thank you

Hi all we have lodged our 190'visa back in June. I've seen some people have done their medicals before CO allocation? When I rung to book the medicals they said I needed a number which the case officer would give me? We have gone with a visa agent - not sure if this makes any difference? im confused, please help?! Hi all I was just wondering if anyone has completed a skills assessment via vetasses recently? I completed mine in May, they took payment on 23rd May but still haven't heard anything back. My agent (who tbh isn't the best) says it's still in the processing stage and that if can take this long if there busy but I'm sure 20 weeks is more than expected? i have emailed them the other day but still awaiting a reply. I've also tried ringing them but due to the time difference I keep missing them - I plan for try again at 5am in the morn!! Thanks Rach
