Haven't secured any jobs as well. Any tips regarding the job market in the financial & banking sector since both of us are qualified management accountants with banking experience. Accounting jobs likely to be through agents and the usual global agents operate here, Michael Page, Hays, etc. www.seek.com.au is also a good reference point. Oaklaurel Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Unfortunately you have come to Canberra when the Government job sector is being/has been cut and there are less jobs going and more people looking. However, as you are accounting and banking sector related you have that going for you. The other good thing is that now it is easier to find houses to rent or buy, previously the housing market was very competitive.
