When is baby due? When would they like to move? Hard to really comment without knowing a bit more about the plans. If they plan to move say 9 -12 months after the birth, then might as well just wait and apply for husband and baby together. If they apply too soon and he gets his visa before baby is born then they have two visas to apply for, partner visa and then child visa.
