BB88
Hi, I've completed my regional work and have granted my second year visa already due to expire Oct 2015. Can I now work for my current employer for 12 months consistently or do I need to wait until my first year visa would of expired, October 2014? Thanks in advance. MARYROSE02
Have you tried looking on the DIAC website, or contacted them?
Lynsey Nicolson
my visa started in february 2012 and i started with an employer in the december and worked through until the september 2013 overlapping my visa date in the february but im unsure if you can do a continuous year. I'm pretty sure it can only be a maximum of 6 months in the year as it would breach the visa condition. You could work for them now until the end of your first year in october and then work for 6 months into your second year.
tingtongman
You cant work for one employer for more than 6 months.
annagilda
As far as I understand it, you can only work for six months for one employer on each visa. So you can work 12 months for the same employer in total, however, you would need to wait for your second visa to kick in before you can do the second set of six months. I hope that makes sense. :-)
