Guest Pesky Varmit Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 Hi all E-mailed LCU on sunday to check progress of meds, they were very quick to respond but unfortunately we need an extra report done for our daughter with glue ear.Couldn't believe such a common childhood ailment has stopped us in our tracks for now. Good news is we were able to get an appointment last night with surgeon........bad news is he's just gone on holiday until next Friday Arghhhhhhhhhhhh :evil: Other good news is that the rest of us have cleared meds. We now have to wait until next weekend for report, if he does it as soon as he comes back, then leave this with panel doc to post off to LCU. We are moving out in 6 weeks, looks like we'll be cutting things very fine with visa and should hopefully have it that week :cry: Please, please please let everything come together before we are homeless!! calNgary Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 hiya i too had to go and see a specialist ,we told him we had hopefully sold the house and neede everything turning around quickly as we obviously didnt want to sell without definately knowing we had the visa ,he did me proud and got it sorted and sent to Oz ,it was approx 3wk later we recieved the golden e-mail so you should just do it ,,give them a sob story ,,worked for us ,, good luck Cal x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will contact clinic Monday 25th to check if report has been done and then deliver it to panel doctor to post off. Once I think it has arrived I will e-mail Lcu to check clearance then contact C/O to check they have everything they need and give them our sob story of being homeless in the very near future! Hopefully this will sort it. Was going to contact clinic to see if someone else could do report, but the surgeon gave a good prognosis and said he would do report himself. Not sure I want to tread on anyones toes and muck things up, still debating though as I feel since we paid privately we should have been able to move things along a bit faster.
