dejani
Hi. We are a Swedish family with Serbian roots who will move to Gold Coast during 2014. We have a son that is almost 2 years old and we would like to meet Swedish families down under so that our son has a chance of learning Swedish. northernbird
Anyone please! Sorry nobody has replied. Welcome to poms in Oz. You probably had no replies as this site is mainly populated by British people moving to Australia. Skani
I think you are asking in the wrong place. I've been frequenting PIO for over 4 years and I can't remember any Swede posting. However there are Swedish/Scandinavian clubs/organisations in all capital cities in Australia and Brisbane is no exception. Just Google "Swedish association Brisbane" and you will find the contact details.
Skani
Dejani.....Just another piece of information which may be of interest. SBS Radio in Australia has a weekly program in Swedish. It used to be an hour long program from 4 pm each Saturday (followed by an hour long Danish program ) but they've changed the schedule and I think it is now on Thursday afternoon. You can access podcasts as well. http://www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/swedish/home/page/in/language
