Ozmaniac
With 2 out of his 3 children living in the UK, I'm afraid he would not pass the 'Balance of Family' test and would therefore be ineligible for a Parent visa. The BoF test is the basic requirement for Parent visa eligibility and without passing it, a Parent visa is impossible. http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/family/balance-family.htm Balance of Family test

If he can afford it there are investment visas, I wouldn't like that myself though as you have to tie money up and it will always be temporary visa. Alan Collett
Parent visa is out of the question unless one of the sons moves permanently as well. If he can afford it there are investment visas, I wouldn't like that myself though as you have to tie money up and it will always be temporary visa. But temporary residency visas such as the Investor and Investor Retiree visas often come with attractive tax advantages ... Best regards.
