manchester lass
Hi I wondered if anyone could shed some light please? I have just been reading through another post which stated that we only need to pay for one visa for the family is this right? I thought we would have to pay for all of us, (me my husband and 3 kids) I am a midwife and we are applying for PR thank you in advance :-)
Mirmai
Hi, that used to be the case up until last July, now there are individual prices for the family. We are a family of five also, and we payed £4400 odd for the visa application alone! :swoon: My advice........get saving!! Best wishes, Mir x
Ozmaniac
It used to be that one Visa Application Charge covered the whole family but now there is a separate charge for the Primary applicant and for each adult and minor secondary applicant. For example, the VACs for a 189 visa (and for the other permanent visas) are AUD$3520 base charge plus $1760 for each adult secondary applicant and $880 for each person under 18 so for you, your husband and 3 children under 18, it would come to $7920 (£4930). http://www.immi.gov.au/fees-charges/visa-pricing-table.htm Visa pricing table
Mirmai
Exactly Ozmaniac, $7920 is what we paid , but exchange rate was more favourable for us, we paid £4400ish including credit card fees for foreign exchange.

oz2014
Hi it's age on invite I think!
MaggieMay24
You pay based on their age at the time of application. If you can apply before your son turns in January, then you pay the <18 fee.
