Guest branstonpickle Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Hi folks, Long-time lurker on these forums from time to time, just registered and making my first post :-) I'm looking for an accountant, ideally in Melbourne, who's got some connections to the UK. I've been living in Melb for just over two years, but I've still been doing some work for my old employer back in England. This has all been done on a PAYE basis; so I've still been paying income tax and NI contributions while I've been away. I've managed to get the IR to confirm that I'm eligible to have tax repaid, but getting them to do so is another matter altogether!! I'm now looking to set up a company here in Oz for consultancy I'm doing here as well as in the UK. So what I need, I think, is an accountant on-the-ground here who can do company formation with their eyes closed, and also liaise with the wonderful UK tax office angels. I've asked friends, I've googled, I've got my fingers inky from Yellow Pages, and now I ask here. Anyone have any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
