I logged my application on 886 visa 3 years ago (i am on group 5) , and still have not heard anything from Immigration. That is why when my boss said that he's happy to help me out with 457 visa, I accepted it straight away. And I had 457 visa last month. My question is : Is my 886 application still there and processing? or they just closed it? Some agencies said no, but some said yes :confused: Thank for all your helps! Let me tell you man, I don't know what kind of visa 886 is but you sure are lucky that you got granted 457. some have been waiting for more than 6 months. Willi4m Posted January 5, 2014 Author Share Posted January 5, 2014 I applied for General Skill Migration 3 years ago (they grouped me in group 5, lowest group anyway) and still waiting for them until my boss helped me out. When I checked allocation dates for general skilled migration, It is up to 11 December 2012 already, while I lodged my application on Feb 2010 and have not been contacted by case officer. It gives me sock:err:. So, all I have to do now is sit back, relax and wait for case officer contact me, right? Because my case is still there and they have not dig deep enough to see mine?
