We are a family of 5 visiting Gold Coast in December with hopes of emigrating if we like it. Our kids are 15,12 and 11 and worry about uprooting them. Any advice from anyone would be welcomed. You will love the Gold Coast and will probably decide you want to emigrate. There are other people on here with diabetes and it doesn't seem to be a problem. Don't leave it too long, my kids are 18 and 21 and the oldest doesn't want to come - she may change her mind later I hope. More wworried about my 15yr old as he is supposed to start A levels in Sept. Am sure you will get loads of advice from those who have already made the move but for me I keep reminding myself why we want to leave but this site does help alot.
