Jayprakash Jp Mehta Posted October 5, 2013 Share Posted October 5, 2013 Nish89 / ozee, RPL means Recognition of Prior Learning, for which you need to provide details of your learnings thru courses/certifications/on the job learning etc and demonstrate how you are fit to work in the nominated occupation. Chortlepuss Posted October 5, 2013 Share Posted October 5, 2013 Biggest problem for any ICT PM in Oz these days is finding work - unless you're in a specialist shortage area (perhaps SAP?). For generalists, pickings are slim and rates are low - at least in Queensland. If Vic is providing state sponsorship things must be very different down south! kevsan Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Hi - still waiting for ACS, currently 10 weeks in, so should get a result within the next 2 all being equal. POsitive messages on recruitment in VIC, had some good contacts, but until PR is granted its non committal. Sydney is looking good, and i've been actively chased by some companies in Brisbane.. but as I am looking at a VIC sponsored approach its a non starter.
