A newly-arrived lassie is breaking her heart with homesickness. She is pining for her Mum - understandably - please feeling guilty about taking her babes away from their grandparents. Guest sue Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I do feel sorry for you but all been there.Taking only grandchildren away from grandparents is very hard to do.they proberbly couldn't feel any sad if we had died. Its 8 years down the track for me and I get the odd day thinking what we did also very jealous now they have a new grandchild who live close buy and doing things with him. As for going back I really don't think it helps as you never settle leave 2-3 years when you have a life going here job,friends etc. I have a friend who did that for the first 5 years sold 2 houses plav=nning on returning but retuned its not healthy.And the kids will be unsettled.
