Janak
Hi all, I applied for NSW SS on in the July 2013. Got acknowledge and reference number from them. Now waiting for it to get approved. In the mean time I have heard that they have ceased some occupations because of ceiling is reached for this year. Now my question is : As I have got reference number, does it mean I am being considered or what else do I need to get from this? Thanks in advance for your inputs. I am very confused and lot tensed at the moment. Thanks
Rupert
It is easy to check the lists and see what is closed isn't it? Have you tried that?
Janak
It is easy to check the lists and see what is closed isn't it? Have you tried that? So easy hey Rupert! Thanks for your input. So does it mean they wouldn't process any application which is closed occupation, right?
lebourvellec
If ceiling level has been reached before you are invited - you will not be invited, and occupation code will be closed. Having lodged application doesn't mean anything until state nomination granted.
Janak
Any updates from NSW on this? Thanks
TeeTMI
NSW has a list of the occupations affected on their web site, and I posted on it in another thread as it impacts on all the states.

Thanks TeeTMI. So what would be outcome of this? As NSW is encouraging not to withdrawal applications. Is there any lights at the end of the tunnel?
