Hi all, I have applied for NSW SS and I got a call from them before 3-4 weeks and was asked to submit latest IELTS as the old one was expired. I did my IELTS then after but fallen sort to score in one module by 0.5 as per their requirement. Now today I have got an email from them stating my application is rejected because of the "IELTS expired". They didn't give me time line when they called me to submit latest IELTS. Any advice? Thank you in advance for all your inputs.

I have already got positive skill assessment from ACS for nominated occupation. But haven't got 3 years total experience. Will it work?

Thanks Philip, I am working since 2 years with sponsoring employer. Is it requirement that I should be on 457 during this 2 years? I was on Temporary residence (485 visa) before and then got 457 last year. So how could I get ENS application go through? Thanks

Hi all, I applied for NSW SS on in the July 2013. Got acknowledge and reference number from them. Now waiting for it to get approved. In the mean time I have heard that they have ceased some occupations because of ceiling is reached for this year. Now my question is : As I have got reference number, does it mean I am being considered or what else do I need to get from this? Thanks in advance for your inputs. I am very confused and lot tensed at the moment. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. So if I get positive degree assessment from ACS stating it is comparable to an Australian degree, I would be able to claim points for that, right?

Hi there, I would like to apply for Australian visa (Subclass 190 or whatever is easiest). I have done Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in India. So my question is: would I be able to claim 15 points for that qualification? If yes, how would I prove my qualification to Immi. Would I be able to do it with ACS? I was on Temporary Residency (which is 18 months visa after finishing Masters degree) before 457. Now I am on 457 since 6 months. And working with the current employer since 2 years. I definitely will get positive skills assessment. So what other things I would need to do? Thanks

Thank you Tickled Pink. I think 186 will be the best option for me as my employer would sponsor me. But I want to confirm if I have to have worked 2 years with the same employer or with other's also countable? Thank you.
