jag
Hi all, My brother has recently moved over to WA and is a cabinet maker. He has 6 years experience and is working as a cabinet maker in wa now. His company are willing to sponsor him but he has no trade papers. He has the first 4 phases certs from FAS. Can he get his skills assessed and if so what would he need to prove himself? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Alan Collett
Hi jag. Maybe contact Australian Skill Assessments, and ask them whether they (or someone they know) can facilitate an AQF Certificate III through a practical assessment of your brother's skills: https://www.australianskillassessments.com/contactus.php Good luck!
