Guest BRAMBLE
Hi , can anyone tell me what wage stoppages there are in western australia. Is it the same as here i.e tax, national insurance and pension? Do you still pay national insurance if you are inured privately? Thanks, Sarah. Guest BRAMBLE
The only deductions I pay are tax and supperannuation Thanks Ali, Could you give me an idea of the percentage they take out? I have been offered a nursing post at 1.9 on the ANF scale. I was pretty chuffed at this as presently my pay is equivelent to the 1.4 although i dropped a grade after birth of my baby girl to return on reduced hours. ( is a 1.9 like an E grade in the uk?) I am trying to work out if we can afford for just me to have a job for a few months ( just in case hubby doesn't get one straight way). He is a senior ODP here. How long have you been in WA? Thanks, Sarah.
ali
Hi been in WA for a year - I'm in a 2.4 position although I started on a 1.9 when I arrived as my plan was 6 months on the ward to sound things out then back to community which is what I did in UK. I'll try and find one of my old wage slips and pm you (do remind me if I don't) Ali

Guest Liam
The Superannuation rate is 9%. You will often find employers quote a Gross Salary + Superannuation. to see your take home pay have a look at CareerOne You can play around to see what the net take home pay is if you get a rise. BEst of luck. Liam
