My partner was the main applicant and I am the dependant, although we both got jobs at the same time for the same company. She now wants to move back to UK and I dont. We have only been here 1 year. Where do I stand as a dependant on this visa if she returns before the 2 year period to validate the conitions of the visa.....does anyone know??? blossom Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 Wow, that is a hard situation. I guess you are separating too, so even harder. It seems that once you have been in the job a year they are LESS likely to cancel the visa. If you could get her to hold out for that year you might have more chance.
