bill greenaway
Hi - Does anyone live at Cooroy? I'll be visiting in April house-hunting and would appreciate information about the area.
milliem
I don't live there but pass through periodically. All around that hinterland is really beautiful. Enjoy Millie
SkippyChick11
I've not lived in Cooroy, but grew up not too far from there. It's not a bad little town. Quite relaxed, but has good links to the the lake, the Sunny Coast and onto the Bruce Highway for Brisbane & beyond. I've never had any hassle or heard too much negative feedback other than the usual ribbing that people give towns. OH and I drove the back road through Cooroy to Lake Cootharaba over our Xmas hol and came across some lovely acreage properties. Good luck! bill greenaway
Thanks for the comments - it sounds good! Hi Roger - my wife and I are retired sheep farmers, so no requirement to work! We are already in e-mail contact with you, I think, and I'll e-mail you a few days before I fly to Oz to see if we can arrange to meet.
roger2shirts
Hi Bill, Cooroy is a pretty, small country town and is something of "old Queensland". Very pretty and lots of acreage properties and quite close to Noosa. If you like rural then make sure you look at Maleny, Montville, Eumundi and Doonan.
