There seems to be specific areas and schools that a lot of Army families go to so might be worth looking into that. Some nice areas near to there are The Gap and McDowall. A little further (but definitely a lot of military families around) are Eatons Hill and Albany Creek. I am not sure about Michelton - I just know that it seems to be in the list of "Break ins" in the paper a lot of the time which makes me think it might not be great.
