I've been back in the UK for a couple of years since my first one and have been in a pretty good job with relatively good prospects for most of that. I am reluctant to give that up but also desperate to go back to Oz for another year. A couple of people at work have recently worked freelance for the company for a few months and I would love to be able to do the same. However I have no idea how this would work visa-wise! Does the same rule apply for only being able to work for a company for six months apply if the company is entirely based in another country? Would freelance mean I was self employed, and if you're self employed can you only be self employed for six months?
