Mortgage and bills refer to our property at home.

Obviously we could cut this by selling the house but we have been offered 15K £ less than what we have asked.

 

 

I have not received a formal job offer yet, but I had a couple of interviews with a company and they are talking about 120K AUD per annum.

 

If I'm not mistaken, this would be translated in 80400 AUD net per year.

 

Is my exteem on costs accurate?

 

I thought 120K was ok for a family of four...probably I have to consider to accept the offer on our property...

I know quite a few familys of four here in Queensland ,including ours and we survive on much less than that, so taking into consideration your UK mortgage ,i think you should be fine.

Where you intending going? Some of your estimates are quite high, we are in Melbourne, near Werribee - we pay

 

1477 a month for a 4 bed new build

 

last gas bill $52 (summer) 200(winter) for the quarter

 

last electric bill $240ish summer and winter for the quarter

 

last water bill was $45 for the quarter

 

there is 2 adults and 1 3 year old

I forgot to mention, we are heading to Perth, as I work in the oil&gas industry the options were Perth or Brisbane.

 

As for rental, I am considering 600 AUD per week maximum, the other costs were taken by making some research.

We will probably have only one car, at least in the first year, so proabbly this will be less than 700 per month.
