margaretka233 Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 Hi me and my partner has both positive skill assesment and 6 band each from Eislt,,, we are 2 y after uni both of us,but my partner never worked in accounting,, can we still claim 5 points for partner skill? I 'think' you need a skills assessment for both if you are applying for partner points, so, it comes down to if you need work experience to get the skills assessment (I think). You cannot receive these points if your partner is not included on your visa application, or if they are an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
