457 - Vetasses ???????

Was wondering if going in on a 457 visa as an electrician also means that skills dont need to be assessed by Vetasses?

 

I have searched through posts to try and find answer and also questioned Vetasses who said No we dont but I had asked the question to a recruitment company Workforce who we saw at York expo last september and he said yes you do as wont be able to do any electrical work without the vetasses paper saying passed.

 

I have e.mailed embassy to ask but as its 7pm wont get an answer before Monday now and its just something i'd really like to know
