catinahat1975
Hi allSo we are getting ready to pack for the big move and i have a question over kids toys.We want to take over our used toy and wanted to know what others have done as far as cleaning and marking boxes.I want to take a few RC cars over too but i'm not sure if it will be alot of stress. Has anyone done this and how?We are not taking any of our sand or outside toys as they are all well use and will be better to buy new in Oz.All answers will be good
calNgary
Just give the toys a wipe over with a disifectant type spray (Dettox is one that springs to mind). As for the RC cars ,if theyre petrol you will have to drain tanks etc ,, if theyre battery you need to remove the batterys. Cal x
NicF
Providing they are not covered in mud they will be fine. Any toys that have been played with outside should be cleaned off but I think you can go a bit overboard with steralising everything. We brought buckets and spades that had just been washed up in washing up liquid and they were fine. As was my son's bike that we just washed down. We bought some Jays fluid but didn't actually use any of it in the end.
