zara283 Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Hi there we have a bit of a dilemma, back in march my ex husband signed, witnessed & consented to me taking our son to Australia on a 457 visa. Since then progress with our prospective employers have been considerably slow due to some issues their end. However I have recently been told that the consent that I have had signed & witnessed only lasts for a year??!!!! What I want to know is if this is true or not........does anyone know......????? I think your case officer could ask for an updated one as they can pretty much as for anything ( I speak from experience! ) but no I dont beleive there is an actual shelf life, like meds and Police checks.
