We are in Dunlop and could only get Telstra. Depending on where you are might depend who you go with. Heard good things abt dodo

Location is a big factor. I would check out availability of services in the location you are moving to. In fact, I would check out availability of services prior to signing any rental contracts but that's because I insist on having a relatively decent internet connection and on that basis there are certain suburbs I wouldn't move to. Whirlpool forum is also a good source of information. :wink:

Went with iiNet myself with their Naked DSL option so we don't pay line rental for the phone and took out Bob2 rental which included a VOIP phone. Bob2 is essentially iiNet's proprietary ADSL modem and so far, so good. Our connection is good enough for their FetchTV service which is a mix of Free-to-Air and IPTV services so get quite a decent package. We get a 400GB cap with some services allowed for free like XBox Live, iTunes that don't count towards our cap.
