Guest pokoooo
I am not 100% but i brought a tv back with me from Aus when travelling (long story). It had built in digital but the country is locked to Australia i can only pick up 2 fuzzy channels if i set my region to NT. I have not tried using a Digibox/set top and just use it for xbox now. It may be worth having a look in your tv settings to see if you have any country options or even if you can change/reset it. Google would be your friend with that. friedparsley
I just did this but the other way round. Brought a TV from UK and it wouldn't work even though used the regional menu settings. Works OK with a set top box. The TV just becomes a monitor screen. Imagine it would be same in your case, but consider costs of shipping it, damage etc. Far easier to sell it here as its new, and buy again in UK. Avoids lots of wires, cables and 2 remotes.
