Val Tibenham
Go to your local library and put IELTS into the library database. I got my practice materials for free doing this. Just borrowed the books for a few weeks.

Incata
Hi Carol My husband and I did our ILETS with separate providers. With mine I did not get any additional assistance (so I bought books from Amazon). However, my husband got an email from the British Council saying that the course was recognised by them and as part of it he got 30 hours online use of practise tests for free. The books from Amazon were great and we found them more user friendly than the online system. However, most useful of all was doing a google search on how to pass your ILETS. Some of the links were incredibly useful, particularly in terms of the written exam. Are you doing the General or the Academic? This makes a very big difference in how complicated the exams are. If you are doing the General, it is worth studying as if you are doing the Academic as then the exam will come as a relief, rather than a shock. Best of luck!
