I think it depends on the visa, but generally you have one year from the date of your medicals / police statements to validate the visa. This can be done by visiting on a holiday or migrating. Guest fee Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 wow, that was quick! thanks for both replies, i thought it was a holiday within the first year and then 3 or 4 years after that. i've just passed my skills assessment so still got a long way to go yet, but have 4 kids so got to save enough dosh to see us through for at least 3 months when we get there. i can't bloody wait!!
