BritChickx Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I have an NVQ2 in health and social care, when we eventually get to Aus I want to get a care assistant job....do you think they'll accept my qualification? BritChickx Posted June 13, 2012 Author Share Posted June 13, 2012 Yeah, think the emphasis is on the cert 3, I just hope my nvq2 is accepted as I don't want to have to go to tafe to get a qualification that enables me to do care work, want to go straight into it! Guest Longtime Lurker Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I can't imagine they would make it easy for you and give accreditation for prior learning so you only have the odd module to complete. sherbert Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 Hi, I did my cert 3 in aged care and disability care while I was in oz a couple of years ago. Did the course at tafe in mandurah, also did my senior first aid course while at tafe as well.
