Polkey Posted December 4, 2007 Share Posted December 4, 2007 Afternoon, I have been looking for places to stay around the Burleigh Heads area for a few weeks when we first arrive. There is plenty around but am having trouble finding some sort of self catering accommodation just for two, every thing seems aimed at high numbers of people which is understandable but we need somthing smaller. Guest Liz and Paul Posted December 4, 2007 Share Posted December 4, 2007 Hi John We are staying at Burlugh Gardens North High Rise in Jan for a couple of weeks, next door is Burleigh Plams, also St Marie nearby, all have 1 bed self contained apartments to rent, there are others - all can be found on totaltravel.com. Try Wotif.com: Australia Hotels, Accommodation, Motels which is where we booked through at short notice. Also faces the beach! Burleigh Heads is luuuuuuuuvvvvvvvvvly !!!! and we are now very jealous! Jo&Rich Posted December 4, 2007 Share Posted December 4, 2007 Hi, we stayed at Oceanside Cove, which is near the beach and the shops just a short walk, was very nice, but two bedroomed apartment, so maybe too big.
