    Ohhh dmn it is that for the new people apply or for everyone? I submit my police check two weeks ago so hopefully I get it soon coz I'm just over it with this waiting

    They asked me for AFP too I just submitted today hopefully soon I hear back from immigration

    No only police check so we will see if they need anything else but if they needed something else I think they would of asked with the police check so I'm hope only this one

    Yeah I do since 8 of October but they requested last week another police check I'm just waiting for the police check in the mail so I can scan and sent it back.

    I think for every occupation is similar and my agent said it always depends how long it takes you to give them answer when they request something. And it's case by case scenario sometimes it's luck I applied with my friend same positions he got approved in 5 months and I got requested police check and it's been 12 months since then. So I think your friend just got lucky and that's why he got that quick.

    Hello, guys today I got an email from my agent that the immigration asked for a new police check. Last time they asked me for a police check from my country and I provide both from there and here and now they just requested a police check from here. Hopefully, I hear something soon

    We do live together but I didn’t want to apply for partner visa coz I already applied for my 186 visa I didn’t expect to take 17 months and still not approved yet. We spoke with couple of brokers and they said I have to be PR to get a loan. My gf she can get the loan on her own but it’s not enough for the property we want that’s why I asked coz I’m not sure how long I need to wait for my visa to be approved.

    Hey fellas is it possible to get a house loan from the bank if you not PR but waiting to be approved? Coz if my gf apply she can get on her name but it's not enough so we can't to apply together.

    I'm in the same boat as you mate, applied 8 of October 2019 they asked for the police check from my country February 2020 since then nothing.

    It’s same company so my lawyer said it’s all good and don’t need to update anything

    I have a question hope someone can point me in the right direction. I applied for 186 and still waiting on a bridging visa for 17 months, my partner is an Aussie and we try to buy a house but she can't borrow over $400k to buy property so we want to apply for a mortgage together. Is it possible my side to be approved coz I'm still not a PR? Thank you

    I think immigration need to start looking into 2019 applications that it said further assessment like mine. It’s been a year since they asked for police check. And still nothing, I tried to get on the market and buy property but I can’t coz doesn’t have pr now because of that I need to save more money coz the properties pieces going up.

    I've been waiting Almost a year next week since immigration requested a police check. Now when I check my immi account said future assessment so not sure if they will request something else but if they looked at my case one year ago and I sent the police check why would take that long? Does that mean I'm back into the line waiting to come my turn not sure how the logic works on this. Any info would be great

    Might have but what I heard before someone said hospitality goes very slow atm and many of us here waiting already over an year on bridging visa but not sure if De and Trt have a different time frames atm

    Here 16 months too and it's kinda disappointing that the hospitality section waits the longest like we are not humans or we don't pay tax like everyone else it's just so disappointing

    Yeah I’ve called couple of times and never got any more information regarding my visa been waiting 16 months.
