  1. Hi Kathy, Can you clarify if your parents have already entered Australia prior to your departure? I remember you mentioned your parents were offshore. As main applicants, your parents would have to enter first right? You as dependent can't enter Australia as PR before your parents???
  2. Hi Biggsy, Have you been requested for further docs? I've heard they're processing early July 2016 applicants now...
  3. Loll Alan its you who don't understand me. My apologies if I was not clear enough, English isn't my mother tongue. Alright lets try again. Those people lodged up to 31/05/18, their lodgement date is their queue date, correct? Those people lodged from 1 June 2018 are being processed right now for queue date. Lets say out of the lot from 06/18 the 1st person who finish AOS, return all docs on 01/02/21. This 1st one would be given 01/02/21 as queue date. So eventhough this person's queue date is 01/02/21, but there are no one queue in between from 06/18 to 01/21 so this person would still be next after those lodged in 05/18. So in my logics, queue dates are like this: 04/18, 05/18, 02/21 (whenever those in 06/18 get queued), 03/21
  4. Yes they need to be quick in completing and returning all to PVC. But they would be still next in line after May 2018 if they're quick
  5. I personally don't think those lodged from June 2018 would wait even longer. Lets say those lodged in June 2018 ppl are being contacted now and will finish their initial assessment around 02/2021 and given 02/2021 as queue date. But there are no one queued from 01/06/18 onwards to now. So they would still be the next in line after those lodged in May 2018
  6. The same can be said for medical check. You passed medical check today doesn't guarantee you would pass in 5 years time. Or you have clear crimical record today, but you could still commit crime in nedt 5 years. Anyway, you lodged your 143 in July 2018, you'll be able to tell us then?
  7. My guessing is they only requested for AoS but won't ask him to lodge the bank guarantee. As the visa requirement is that you must have an assurer. So PVC just wants to know his assurer is eligible? Just my 2c!
  8. Hi Alan, As a registered migration agent, any chance you could contact PVC to enquire/confirm this? Thanks!
  9. Hi Alan, This is not from me, just a random guy on a forum I follow. He's astonished upon receiving the email from PVC. I can't contact PVC to query, can I? Even if this is a precursor to the application being queued, request for AoS now is weird right? He was also requested for Police Clearance and medical check, which I can understand. But requesting for AoS this early means gov gets to keep the money 2-3 years longer. Alan, have any of your 143 clients lodged in 2018 experienced the same?
  10. Hi, I'm not talking about granting visa. May be he will be asked to leave later as well, we don't know yet. What bugger me is he was contacted to do provide further information, to do AoS, medicals, etc only 28 months after lodging. Here I am already waiting 43 months. And those people lodged in July 2016 already waited 51 months
  11. Yes he is onshore with 600 (his first tourist visa since 2018). But that should not be the reason why he gets infront of all June-Dec 2016/2017/Jan-May 2018 applicants. We all pay the same visa fees. And 143 is PR. Once granted, we are allowed to enter Australia. As Linda has stated The queue order is fixed. No application will be given priority ahead of another application I mean well wish to him and I congratulate him on his luck. But this unfairness is beyond my acceptance
  12. This is the complete page he uploaded. I cropped out initially as I thought it wasn't my information to share. He said there're other documents in regards to police clearance, health examination, etc but he didn't share those. Any thoughts?
  13. Hi Linda, So those applied from 1 June 2018 onwards will be requested for Aos, Police Clearance, health examination before given queue date? Why would they be requested to do AoS now, and pay 10k/adult now? Then later on then the actual processing takes place, they will have to redo all that again? Sorry I'm very confused
  14. May be CO accidently placed his application in 2016 pile instead of 2018 pile? I wish this would happen to me
  15. No. He said it was a straight 143, not switching from anything. I find this so unbelievable, like winning the division 1 lottory
  16. Hey everyone, someone on a forum I follow said he was contacted today to provide further docs, AoS, etc. The thing is he lodged 143 on 06/2018. How is this possible? He said its not switching from 173 -> 143. It was a straight 143 application
  17. That means just for June/July 2017 it'd take 2 years as there were 9000 in those 2 months. Imagine lodging application 2 months apart would be 2 years different for granting
  18. Thanks Linda, I was hoping they would keep it the same, 6-7k places. I didn't even dare to hope for an increase, just the same would be awesome. And here it is. A big "Hahaha" to my face. Honestly, at 5000 places, whoever applying now could be looking at 20 years waiting time? Is this for real?
  19. Hi Nat, I tried to private message you but couldn't, may be I'm too new. Can I ask you a quick question? When was your mum requested to do medical test? Same time when they requested further documents? As I noticed medical test was done on 15/1, 1 full month later Thanks, Mai
