Reply which i got from immigration suggests thar there priority is PMSOL and regional, These duration are avg of all application including non PMSOL. Considering this is avg , good number of application will be more than 7 or 10 months (DE or TRT). Once they have bandwidth they will process other skill, may take few months and i can bet these months will increase due to prioritization exercise. Other option is that they review the PMSOL list which i do not believe will happen within a month. Having said that there is a hope as they have said that other skills will also ger processed but not in priority.

My agent had written to immigration asking them about processing time and they have sent an email stating that as per immigration minister direction application with PMSOL code, Regional victoria and global talent migration visa needs to be prioritized, Others will be processed based on case load and not a priority. There is a bad news that processing will take longer however whenever they get time they may process other job codes, Let’s hope that some positive movement happens in few months, especially TRT is extremly slow to process

Looking at the immigration minister statement , he has said that the focus will be on priority migration skills for employer scheme, which means very slim chance for other ( I do not want to sound negative but that’s how it looks) , Visa numbers for emoloyer scheme in total has been reduced as well. I presume this fourm is small but can we get a sense on how many people in this forum is waiting for more than 7-8 months for grant. I am waiting from 7 months or so and job code is not in the PMSOL list.
