Hi guys, is it really required to stay with the same employer for the 2 years who sponsored the PR ? one of my friend received his PR subclass 186 last year and now he is getting a good offer from a company. But his HR has indicated (not a formal or written communication) that he needs to stay with the company for an another year before he can quit. Is this really legal?- 58,548 replies

Congratulations mate. May I know if all the applicants are onshore? And if you work for big techs?- 58,548 replies

yes mate that's what I have been observed. haven't seen any TRT getting PR in recent months. People on DE are getting PR within 2-3 months timeline and for TRT it is just wait-game.- 58,548 replies

It seems only DE are getting PR grants now. Dunno what crime TRT's have committed that TRT people with their applications lodged since last year are still waiting.- 58,548 replies

I think some one mentioned earlier on this thread that it is better to re-do medicals and PCC only if requested by CO.- 58,548 replies

Thank you mate. Glad to know that I am not all alone dealing with the stupidity of these agents. Yea mate, No one would want to risk the application by changing it without the knowledge of the MA.- 58,548 replies

True mate, She also missed to attach my overseas PCC when the application was submitted in March this year. I also came to know about it after importing it. Seriously these guys do not have any concern or regards about the anxiety we are having each day. I do not know how much delay would cause now.- 58,548 replies

Hey mate, Below is the link on steps how to import your applicaton: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-text/online-account/Documents/import_paper_application.pdf I informed her personally. I do not think they get notified automatically by the system, if that's the case , she would have expressed the concerns quite earlier.- 58,548 replies

yea she is registered MA and is from big four. Not sure what harm would it be if some one imports it. I clearly told her that I do no intend to edit or update the application in any form. In fact I got to know that she did not submit my overseas PC during the time of submission of the application. Now when the CO has asked for it, may be she is showing the attitude just to escape from the blame.- 58,548 replies

Hi people, I had to import my PR application under my immiaccount as my agent was not giving me timely updates earlier. So once she got to know about it, she is furious about it and mentioned that she has the right to forego the representation for my case. Any one knows if this impacts PR application in any way? Thanks.- 58,548 replies

yes mate, it is really frustrating now. Good on people who are getting their DE visa approved. but what about us on TRT ? I am unaware of any TRT getting a visa in past few months. Arrrghhh ! If this remains the case, Australia will lose out to UK and Canada in Immigration in near future.- 58,548 replies
