    We had everything submitted just as covid hit too, just waiting for 2nd VAC request now too. Good luck - hopefully not too far away!!

    Hello, Patiently awaiting the grant of my Mums parent visa! She is moving house in the UK for the short term so a perfect opportunity to start packing for an international move. She won’t be bringing any furniture to Australia, just a number of boxes of personal items (photos, ornaments, some clothing etc) Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced and easy to liaise with company, we’ll look to get the boxes so she can pack them and get them on their merry way via sea (no rush and will be a lot cheaper I imagine) Thanks in advance Nat

    No news for me yet! Strange as I had already sent all this info in too! Oh well as long as they’re staying in touch and asking for info, it’s still being processed! Fingers crossed we hear some news soon

    I just got a further request for more information! Strange as the requests are all that have already been provided (police cert with maiden name on) some sections of the form 80 (which has already been filled out...) But will be sending back first thing. They must be looking at applications still!

    Kicking myself I didn’t send my AOS letter straight off or I believe I would have had the 2nd request just before all this craziness kicked off! However this just means that hopefully there will be some good news at the end of May for all of us, especially those waiting for only that 2nd payment request! And everyone else’s can keep moving!

    Mine was received 21/02 and still waiting for 2nd VAC payment - hopefully we hear soon

    Everything has now been sent to Centrelink Including AOS acceptance. So now we wait!

    No I just called the number on the rejection letter. They were not helpful however for about an hour however as said there was no one there who dealt or could speak to AOS - which would explain if the office is in Tasmania! They then put me on hold to call someone etc. as they wouldn’t give me this number.

    Congratulations! That happened so quickly. My AOS got approved weeks ago and nothing yet

    They did this to me - rejected as said I hadn’t paid but docs were uploaded and I had gone into an office to check. I called them and had to fight with them for about an hour, they were telling me there was no one else I could speak to and it would be reviewed as they could see everything was there and weren’t sure how they were missed. I wouldn’t put the phone down until It was sorted out and finally got a letter saying it was accepted! However haven’t had request for 2nd Vac yet so hoping it hasn’t slowed everything down and caused issues. Centrelink are terrible!

    Ahhhhh I have paid the AOS over a week ago so just waiting now! Everything else submitted prior to this! Nothing to report just very excited and anxious all at the same time!

    Hey guys, couple of questions - how long do they give you to pay 2nd VAC on receipt of email? can I upload my AOS docs to Centrelink and if so what category do I select, financial? Or do I have to go in? thanks in advance!

    Congratulations!!! Can you tell me how long they give you to pay the second/final instalment when you get the email? I just paid the AOS - currently also hopefully buying a house so making sure funds are all in check as a few weeks of money going all over the place! Thanks
