  1. We had the copy of the birth cert for non migrating child uploaded within 1 hour of receiving the RFI. Now we have to wait for the police clearance again! we haven’t pressed confirm as still waiting for the police clearance. Is it worth pressing now or wait for the police clearance???
  2. Hey guys, we got an RFI on 23/01/20, having to get another U.K. police for my wife’s 309 application. lodged 11/04/19, front loaded everything so a bit bemused why they are asking for a new police clearance when still 3 months to run on the first one we loaded, but as they say hey ho! We also have to provide a birth certificate for non migrating child? Anyway we’re just happy to have moved to intial assessment because it means progress.... great to see all the grants going through around our timeline and it has certainly given us hope as we saw/knew our lodgement date was getting closer. the forum has been great, keep posting the great grants, as it gives hope. my wife returns to the U.K. on 10/02/20 after being here 6 months on a 600 extended tourist visa, so hopefully there will be a grant whilst she’s out of the country back in the U.K. nearly there............
  3. We applied 600 tourist stream with evidence of my wife joining me as I had started a new job and we wanted to be together as a new family with my daughters from previous, and for her to explore and do tourist stuff whilst I was at work. Provided bank statements with savings and stated we would be living if my wage in our rented house. Was granted 6 months which expires when she goes back to U.K. in Feb to see family. Plan is to see where we are as we approach a year, and then apply again for another tourist visa or ETA. My understanding is that even if you have a 6 month tourist granted, when they come to grant the 309, they would ask you to leave so it can be granted. Hope this helps
  4. Good afternoon from WA. Just thought we’d introduce ourselves and say hi. I’m the sponsor, (PR) been back in WA since June, (after 3 yrs back in the U.K.) my wife the applicant joined me and my 2 girls (Oz citizens) in Aug with my step daughter. Applied in April 2019, no contact and just hoping that we get some news in the new year. Been great watching the post develop and get closer to our timeline, but looking forward to some news in the new year so we can get on with life. Has anyone else found it this hard as the processing time extends out. More so on my wife with the uncertainty of when a grant may happen, being over here on a 600 extended tourist visa not being able to work and wanting to plan for next year. Just keep them posts coming as it does give us hope
