Hi... Congrats.... are u based in in Australia or Overseas....?? As in onshore or offshore?? Btw any idea if we were off shore and visa is approved...will they let ppl into Australia?

Hi.. I am based in Colombo Sri Lanka... got a job offer in Melbourne Victoria... I am regarded as "offshore" correct? 99% of ppl i see on the excel file are onshore... I am applying for DE 186 Solicitor... 1) Is there anybody else applying as offshore? 2) Does it take longer for Offshore applicants? 3) My employer has applied for my nomination... and once that is approved we will apply for the visa... Will there be an advantage if I apply for my Visa now instead of waiting for my nomination to be approved (other than time taken)?

so I have applied for my DE while offshore.... but most ppl have put DE location as onshore? wouldn't the TRT be onshore and most DE's offshore?
