    They sent s56 Request yesterday for updated police checks with both names and subject access to show all spent (1 caution back in 2013) Nomination approved today! Sent off for new police checks so hopefully I'll receive the golden email within 2-5 weeks!

    Spoke with my agent and she confirmed they wouldn’t look at my visa application until they’re happy with nomination application. Considering they are only asking for updated police certificates in the s56 request, I think it’s very close to a golden email. Is s56 request usually a final request for information? Once cleared, do they usually approve visas if all the information provided is good? I’m estimating around 1-5 weeks for final visa approval, including police certificate waiting times.     Got an s56 request today They requested that both my AUS and UK police certificates show all my names My birth certificate shows first, middle and last name - my previous police certificates did too But my passport only shows first and last name, so they’ve asked that I provide new certificates that show all my aliases Potentially good news? My migration agent hasn’t heard from them regarding the nomination, but maybe it’s good news that they’re doing my application? Would they focus on visa application before nomination?     Hey everyone! While I'm waiting and reading through all of the visas being approved, I have a question. I applied for my 186 TRT Visa & Nomination on 13/09/19. Medicals were submitted 1 week later. I'm seeing people who applied after me, receive their nomination approval or full visa approval. Does anyone have any insight as to why this is? Why is Immigration approving nominations and visas for people that applied at a later date while other applicants are waiting much longer? I've only been waiting 2 or so months, which is nothing compared to most people, so I'm very curious. There clearly is no 'queue' system in place. Do they favour certains countries, professions, industries etc? What do we think are the key factors in 'who's next'? I really do hope it's not just as simple as 'whoever is on my desk is next' kinda of scenario. PS. I'm not throwing shade on those people who've been approved who applied after me, I'm just curious.     Hi everyone, I’m new here and would like to share my 186 TRT status. Occupation: Graphic Designer Lodged Nomination & Visa Application: 13/09/19 Completed Medical: 21/09/19 Nervously waiting as I can see some people applied after me and have already been approved. Fingers crossed I get the golden email before Christmas!
