  1. Blue mountains is nice . Staying in the UK in that case probably be best , we didn’t have such choice but it doesn’t matter now anyway .
  2. @Poppysunday getting hotter here in Sydney so in for a treat. I think I will miss the cold in the UK especially during the heatwave that is imminent apparently
  3. @GRS I think your lucky as I know that myself and a few others on this forum had the 3 month condition hence we had to travel to Singapore in September just so we don’t overstay , you just need to leave for a day but it’s still annoying . 651 was not an option to us and I did specify what type of visa I wanted in the letter but the case officer gave us that condition. Hopefully @Poppysunday gets lucky and gets a similar CO as to @GRS
  4. @Poppysunday I just uploaded the intial bank statement 3 months and my savings statement and that was it , didn’t submit any further bank stuff but did submit my current work contract and rental agreement here in Australia once I got here . For the holiday visa , we put in the European health card which I think has a reciprocal agreement for healthcare between aus and Uk so no insurance is needed. A 12 month visa is usually given but the 3 month each stay criteria on it is annoying .
  5. I think poppy Sunday is right in the sense that the processing office in london’s Timeline would be different to other countries , and it all depends on where you apply from but everyone is more than welcome to use this forum if they believe it is useful.
  6. Thanks everyone . Hang on in there, I think London office is trying not to exceed >12 months if it can be helped for any applicant otherwise it will spoil there general process rate , ours was just short off 12 months
  7. Raining gold this morning, email received requesting us to depart Australia so that the 309/100 can be granted. Have to be at least out for 5 working days apparently so just busy trying to book as we have to leave no later than 04th December. I think they must be clearing up 2018 now as well so hopefully a few more grants today and next week!
  8. Wow amazing that so many people are starting to get them now . Congrats! Unsure what order these are being processed as we are still waiting since November. Anyone out there still waiting from November and December ? Hope we not the only ones !
  9. Nov applicant here , still waiting .... it seems to be processed in some random order .. hopefully a clear up of 2018 this week
  10. We got the medical done in a clinic in Maidenhead . It definitely was less than £320 and only offered the one option . I don’t think it was a whole lot less but definitely cheaper as I remember not pursuing Knightsbridge because of the price .
  11. @GRS that’s good to know that previous police checks could be still valid which makes sense if your no longer living in the country . My AFP was done in June 2019 so still got some time with that but my wife is only on the visitor 600 visa so never originally required a AFP for her but now wondering since she is here even on a tourist visa , would it be advised to get one or wait for it to be asked... I never showed medical insurance when applying for wife’s 600 . I did mention about the reciprocal agreement and showed her European health card. But when we arrived in Aus she was able to get a Medicare card since she has already applied for 309, it was allowed so medical care is generally fine .
  12. Hello everyone. Thought I'd join this forum to share in the pain that is waiting for 309/100. My circumstances are as follows. I am Australian as is my daughter. Wife is UK citizen. We applied in Nov 2018 in London, Police clearances done same time and Medicals done end of December 2018. RFI in April and then I moved to Australia for work. 2nd RFI in June (annoyingly since I moved to Aus even though it had been only 2 months, I needed a AFP police clearance which I provided straight away). Then no news to date. Wife came with daughter on tourist visa in July. 12 months but no more than 3 months per visit, already visited Singapore in Sep and now booked holiday to NZ for December. Going to have to leave Aus for the 309 to be granted so ideally would like it to be done prior to NZ trip but this hope is slowly disappearing with each passing day. I will be very annoyed to having to do the UK police checks again as we both have not lived in the UK for majority of the last 12 months so hoping some common sense will be applied by DHA but probably not hold my breath.
