    @Poppysunday oh i get. Makes sense! we also thought of going Jan/Feb 2020. It will one year anniversary of my visa in Jan haha! this wait is killing me and also messing up with plans etc. We sold our house and now in limbo because i dont want to sign for a rental contract

    @Poppysunday i applied for 11 months. Lets see if they grant 6 or 12. Or if they grant it at all! Fingers crossed i didnt upload a letter but did mention that we will be staying with my mother in law. Good idea about letter! Go for it! And of course let me know too

    @Poppysunday sure. Will post here when i get a reply from them about 600. It shouldnt interfere with the partner visa anyway. I just hope i get approved. Btw i got a health insurance and uploaded proof on immi account just in case.

    Everyone that have done the 600 visitor. Did you get health insurance before you applied? Freaking out here. Applied yesterday but i dont have a health insurance. Please help!

    @Pegek yes im hoping so! So it would mean i can work and spend my money having cocktails by the beach!! We are going to Gold Coast where husband is from. What about you?

    @Pegek thanks for letting me know! I think i will give it a try. Find it really hard to spend another winter dreaming of my new life by the beach ha!

    @Flaire thanks for the info! Good to know does anyone know if the 600 counts from when you are granted the visa or do they give a date? I am thinking about flying end of Jan but want to apply for visa now to start making plans or not in case its refused! Im just scared they grant and time starts counting. Anyone has any info on this? Thanks!!

    @GRS been looking into it today. I think i will try the 600. The only thing is that everyone i saw it applied to this visa was to join their partner that is already in aus. My australian partner would be coming with me. So im a bit worried they wouldnt approve it as im not going with the purpose of joining him. Do you guys have any insight on this? Thanks!

    @Pegek big congrats what a relief have you been there long before asked to leave? On a eta visa? Im thinking about doing the same but so unsure about the whole process! enjoy the good news!!!

    @Emz82 so good to hear from another person that is so frustrated and know its not just me. We are 9 months in ( applied Jan/2019 and medicals done 28/02 so i will get really upset if i have to redo it too) im constantly on foruns trying to look for news but not much happening keep us posted if you get any contact and i will do the same.

    @TWright105 thats great to know someone else has the same timeline I got asked for medicals end of Jan and then uploaded end of Feb, so that means if they dont approve mine soon i will have to redo it Fingers crossed for us! Keep us updated!

    Hi everyone just want to jump on here to share my anxiety ha! Applied through London, together 7 years, 3 years married and a 2yo kiddo with Aus citizenship. Applied in Jan/2019, RFI in June and no contact anymore. Going insane is an understatement!
